Bengali-Omega ------------------- This is Bengali-Omega version 1.0, a Omega Typesetting system for Bengali language. You can use either the Velthuis transliteration scheme or directly Unicode Bengali Text in your Tex document. The package has been tested using MikTex 2.5 on a Windows XP platform. Bengali Omega – Bengali in Velthuis transliteration or in UTF-8
The package offers typesetting for the Bengali language, using Omega. With the package, you can use either the Velthuis transliteration scheme or directly-written Unicode Bengali text in your TeX document.The distribution offers fonts (as METAFONT source and in Adobe Type 1 format), Omega translation process files, and LaTeX macro files.
