graphicp – An enhanced version of graphics

An extension of the standard LaTeX graphics package, with features to speed it up and to improve its accuracy. (In particular, the calculations relating to bounding boxes are performed in an out-of-line Perl script, which means that the operation is potentially more robust, and the calculations are more accurate than can be achieved within TeX itself.

The package works under Plain TeX as well as LaTeX.
