A re­def­i­ni­tion of the verse en­vi­ron­ment to make the \\ com­mand op­tional for line ends and to give it a pos­si­bil­ity of op­ti­cal cen­ter­ing and `right-hang­ing' align­ment of lines bro­ken be­cause of length.
