abbr – Simple macros supporting abreviations for Plain and LaTeX

The pack­age pro­vides some sim­ple macros to sup­port ab­bre­vi­a­tions in Plain TeX or LaTeX. It al­lows writ­ing (e.g.) \ in­stead of \TeX, hence frees users from hav­ing to es­cape space af­ter pa­ram­e­ter­less macros.
