Date: November 10, 2016 8:27:37 PM CET
Steven B. Segletes submitted an update to the readarray package. Version number: 2.0 License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: Read, store and recall array-formatted data Announcement text:
A significant upgrade to the package, introducing new syntax (while deprecating the old). Allows general parsing separator, rather than just a space character. No longer expands data, upon parsing, thus preserving original tokens of data.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/readarray More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/readarray We are supported by the TeX User Groups. Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Ina Dau

readarray – Read, store and recall array-formatted data

The package allows the user to input formatted data into elements of a 2-D or 3-D array and to recall that data at will by individual cell number. The data can be but need not be numerical in nature. It can be, for example, formatted text.

While the package can be used for any application where indexed data is called for, the package proves particularly useful when elements of multiple arrays must be recallable and dynamically combined at time of compilation, rather than in advance.
