He feels that he no longer has the time to maintain these packages well, so prefers to retract them before they get outdated and buggy. We have therefore agreed to move these packages to CTAN's /obsolete branch (see new URLs below). This means that although the packages will shortly be dropped by TeX Live and MiKTeX, they can still be obtained from the URLs below.
