xbibtex – An X-Windows utility for adding to a BibTeX database

The util­ity pro­vides an X-Win­dows in­ter­face for in­sert­ing en­tries into a bib­li­og­ra­phy database in BibTeX for­mat. Xbib­tex pro­vides a tem­plate list­ing the re­quired and op­tional fields for each en­try type. A fur­ther util­ity is pro­vided to merge the con­tent of ‘key­word’ and ‘an­note’ en­tries into a .bbl file be­fore fi­nal re­com­pi­la­tion.
