pdfsync is a LaTeX package used to synchronize between source and pdf output. With applications implementing pdfsync support, like iTeXMac2, you click on a word in the source to see where it appears in the pdf output, and vice versa.

pdfsync – Provide links between source and PDF

The package runs with pdf or , and creates an auxiliary file with geometrical information to permit references back and forth between source and PDF, assuming a conforming editor and PDF viewer.
